Blue Ribbon Kid's Day - Waushara County celebrates families at the area's annual family fun and resource fair. The free event features lively entertainment, hands-on activities and informational exhibits for parents and children. Fire trucks and ambulances, bouncy castles, clowns, petting zoos and face painting.

The Human Race - This is a unique opportunity for individuals, families and businesses to work together to raise money for our organization. Participants can collect pledges toward a 5k walk, 5k non-competitive run or one-mile walk held at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans on Ballard Rd. in Appleton and Menominee Park in Oshkosh.

Wheelchair wash and health fair - The 9th annual Fox Valley Area Community Wheelchair Wash will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 8:00 am to 12 Noon. Electric powered chairs, scooters, manual chairs and lift/hand controls will be cleaned and inspected for free. Activities will include a health fair for wheelchair wash participants and their families.
Location: Fox Valley Technical College, 1825 North Bluemound Drive in Appleton. Please use Entrance 9 on the west side of the building.

Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased at the Cerebral Palsy office until April 24, 2009. 4:30 p.m. Social Hour, 6:00 p.m. Dinner with Style Show to follow at the Oshkosh Convention Center, 1 N. Registration is from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. The cost is $30.00 if you pre register, $35.00 at the door and includes 1 round of sporting clays (50 targets) and 1 round of 5 stand (25 targets). Irish Fest- 5K run -May 2, 2009 - Irish Fest will take place at Oshkosh?s Leach Amphitheater. This weekend will be filled with entertainment and activities including traditional Celtic music, dancers, and authentic Irish food. There will also be a vendor shopping area, cultural tent, children?s contests and an Irish toast contest. There will be a raffle and a run/walk to raise money to benefit our agency. Ultimate Tailgate Party at the Oshkosh Hilton Garden Inn. The evening includes raffles, silent auction, and buffet and beverages. Enjoy watching the Packers and Vikings with other Packer fans.
